The album Amazing Grace, originally released in 1972, immediately hit the top ten of the Billboard charts upon its release, becoming one of the best-selling gospel albums of all time and, of course, one of the most successful albums by the "Queen of Soul". It has sold over 2 million copies in the US alone and the artist has won 18 Grammy Awards, which is incredible! The album was recorded in a large Baptist church with an enthusiastic and enthusiastic audience in the pews and a full funk band and the Southern California Community Choir under the direction of Aretha's mentor, Reverend James Cleveland.
