This debut from The Messengers on Riverside instantly earned classic status thanks to memorable tracks by Shorter and Hubbard (two of which are featured on the alternate bonus tracks), great ballad contributions from Hubbard and Fuller, and a widely covered arrangement of the title track that shows the leader at his most intense.
