Rhythm & Blues shows not only why the blues is still considered the foundation of all forms of popular music, but also why Buddy Guy had such a significant influence on the careers of guitar heroes like Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix, Jeff Beck and Stevie Ray Vaughan. The album, like Living Proof and Skin Deep, was produced by Buddy Guy's longtime producer Tom Hambridge.
