It now contains four of Bach's masterpieces - three "Protestant Oratorios" and the "Great Catholic Mass" - in superb artistic quality, with renowned vocal soloists and accompanied by top ensembles of historical performance practice: three works were created in collaboration with Concerto Köln, another with the Akademie für Alte Musik Berlin. The representative box set with Bach's St John's and St Matthew Passions, the Mass in B minor and the Christmas Oratorio contains a total of nine audio CDs and a further six CDs with audio introductions to the works.
