In 2020, the quartet from Iceland finally presents the eagerly awaited successor, the new album "Surface Sounds". Between numerous concerts and travels around the world, singer and songwriter Jökull Júlíusson has repeatedly gone into the studio to work on new ideas. The joy of experimentation and growing stage experience translated into the work. The result is twelve new songs. With "Alter Ego," "I Want More" and "Break My Baby," the band sent three predecessors of "Surface Sounds" into the race. And they are visible: in 2020, Kaleo remain true to their inimitable sound. Folk blends with blues, rock and the soulful voice of Jökull Júlíusson. Never change a winning team.
