There probably isn't a band that doesn't dream of one day playing the biggest festival in the metal world: Wacken Krokus, the legendary Swiss rock band around mainman Chris von Rohr, rocked it up there on the main stage for the second time in August 2019! With a quadruple platinum album, two more platinum and two gold awards for the last albums released, which have topped the charts in Switzerland, it's no wonder. But it's not only in Switzerland that this hard rock outfit can score points; around the world, the Swiss have long been an institution and have repeatedly proved themselveswith significant placements in the German charts, such as the Top 20 position of the album classic "Dirty Dynamite". So what belonged together came together, and the guys, who have played more than 2,000 concerts worldwide in their 46-year career, had one of their strongest moments ever. Chris von Rohr: "It was a magical day for us! From the first song we felt that this time the feeling, the connection and the sound was right. Conclusion: it was a proper rock party." Fernando von Arb: "The best concerts are often not recorded or something goes technically wrong. Here, everything was just right." The unforgettable memories of this phenomenal performance, which at the time could be watched live around the world as a Telekom Magenta Musik 360 event, have finally been made official. The eagerly awaited live CD and DVD "Krokus Adios Amigos Live @ Wacken" from Wacken Open Air 2019 has just been released. With the "Adios Amigos" tour schedule now to be released, Krokus are on a permanent farewell tour from 2019which has now been interrupted, like many other things (especially in the live music and entertainment sector), by the band Corona. But if the band has learned anything in their tumultuous career, it's to never give up, and that's how frontman and vocalist Marc Storace sees it, "We will definitely end this tour, whenever that may be. Krokus wants to go on its way in a dignified and proper way until the end. There's still too much fun and power in it. It's not over until it's over.' Those who experienced Krokus live at Wacken are still talking about it today and can only confirm that Krokus have never been so good and full of the joy of playing and despite the announced farewell, it seems that their journey is not over yet. The upcoming release now also invites all die-hard Krokus friends and fans who were not in attendance or have yet to wait for the live experience.
