After Manic Street Preachers posted a mysterious martial arts teaser on Twitter last November, everything was clear: a new album from the British rock band will be released in 2018. "Resistance Is Futile" is the title of the band's thirteenth LP, the successor to "Futurology", with which they reached number two in their native UK. This is the first album recorded by the Manic Street Preachers at their own new studio, Door to the River in Newport. "Resistance Is Futile" features twelve songs, including the first single "International Blue". And it hints at a musical return to the sound of 1996's "Everything Must Go". We can be curious. In addition to the standard CD and LP, "Resistance Is Futile" by the Manic Street Preachers is also available as a deluxe double CD in hardcover.
