Ever since Dave Mustaine left Metallica more than 20 years ago and formed MEGADETH shortly thereafter, this hugely successful heavy metal band has been rocking the heavy metal world. The 2CD "Anthology: Set The World Afire" spans their entire spectacular career and features their greatest hits, including an unreleased demo and two rare live tracks! "Anthology: Set The World Afire" features 35 electrifying tracks, including their biggest hits "Trust", "A Tout Le Monde", "Insomnia" and "Train Of Consequences", including two rare live recordings from 1992 "Peace Sells" and "Symphony Of Destruction", as well as a previously unreleased demo of "High Speed Dirt".Starting with their debut album "Killing Is My Business...And Business Is Good!" in 1985 and the following three albums, MEGADETH developed their own dynamic style before breaking into the mainstream in 1992 with their fifth album "Countdown To Extinction", gaining a wider fan base. Other spectacular albums followed, such as "Youthanasia" (1994) and "Cryptic Writings" (1997). After a brief hiatus in 2002, they returned in 2004 with their tenth album, "The System Has Failed".In recent years, MEGADETH's iconic singer Mustaine has been involved in an extensive remastering campaign of albums released on Capitol Music, which began with their second album, "Peace Sells..... But Who's Buing?" Mustaine spent months remixing, remastering, reworking and, in some cases, reconstructing to make MEGADETH's Capitol Music catalog as close to the original as possible.
