Although the trio hails from Germany, it consists of American Ian Hooper, Italian Claudio Donzelli and English-born Craig Saunders. The boys met at one of frontman Ian's solo shows, and have been working together since 2008, but didn't release their first EP until two years later. The band has already played numerous shows with prestigious international artists (Kings Of Leon, Chvrches) and even had commercial success with their EP "Just One Day" last year...

This year, Mighty Oaks will release their debut album "Howl", preceded by the great pilot single "Brother". The folk-pop song has a nice and very upbeat vibe, with the band's main focus being on the sing-along chorus and the catchy melody. This is exactly the sound, with which also Mumford & Sons or The Lumineers scored some time ago, that the radio airwaves are currently missing the most...
