Hailing from Franklin, Tennessee, they have the irresistible charm of a rock band with a guitar sound that wants to see how far they can go with a few energetic songs and absolute commitment. And it seems to be quite a long way off, because last year you could admire PARAMORE on the 2006 Warped Tour and on an extensive UK tour, even though part of the band hasn't even reached club age yet: The youngest is just 16 years old and the oldest 22, yet the quartet is currently making their way to stardom as the most impactful newcomers on the American scene. Frontwoman Hayley Williams, an energetic redhead who's even cuter than Avril Lavigne, immediately catches the eye. Cute doesn't necessarily mean well-mannered, however, and so the 18-year-old belts out her lyrics into the microphone with all the confidence she can muster. Playing alongside her on guitar is band founder Josh Farro (19), who formed PARAMORE four years ago with his brother Zac (16, then just 12), and on bass is Jeremy Davis (22), who joined the band in 2004. Consistent gigging, especially in nearby Nashville, led to a rapidly growing fan base until Fueled By Ramen founder John Janick happened to see them at a show in Florida. The rest is history....
