Here, Queen sound more polished than before and deliver an unadulterated pop album. Mack, who also worked as a sound engineer for the Electric Light Orchestra, introduced Mercury and his colleagues to new recording techniques. On The Game, Queen used a synthesizer (Oberheim OBX) for the first time, though still in moderation. Another One Bites The Dust and Crazy Little Thing Called Love became worldwide successes.
