Activist Music Collective Against Racial Segregation

Artists United Against Apartheid was a protest group founded by Little Steven (Steven Van Zandt) and record producer Arthur Baker in 1985. The group was formed to express opposition to the South African policy of apartheid, and their primary method of protest was through music. The collective brought together musicians and performers from various genres and backgrounds with the common goal of using their influence to raise awareness about the injustices occurring in South Africa at that time.
