Benno Kusche (1916–2010) was a German operatic baritone who had a significant career in the world of opera. He was particularly associated with the Bayerische Staatsoper in Munich, where he was a member for many years. Kusche's repertoire was extensive, and he excelled in the works of Mozart, Richard Strauss, and Wagner, among other composers. He was known for his strong stage presence and his ability to convey the dramatic aspects of his roles effectively. Over the course of his career, he performed at various prestigious venues and festivals, including the Bayreuth Festival. In addition to his stage work, Kusche also made several recordings.
