Kid Congo & The Pink Monkey Birds is a rock band led by Kid Congo Powers, a guitarist and singer with an extensive career in the music industry. Kid Congo Powers, whose real name is Brian Tristan, has been a member of several influential punk and alternative bands since the late 1970s and early 1980s. He is best known for his work with The Gun Club, The Cramps, and Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, bringing a distinctive style to each group with his raw and expressive guitar playing.
