Rico Saccani is an American conductor known for his work in both the symphonic and operatic realms. He has served as the music director and principal conductor of various orchestras around the world. Saccani gained international recognition after winning the First Prize at the prestigious Budapest International Conducting Competition in 1984. Following this achievement, he was appointed as the principal guest conductor of the Hungarian State Opera. His career has included collaborations with numerous orchestras across Europe, Asia, and the Americas, where he has conducted a wide repertoire ranging from classical to contemporary works.
