Shadows Fall is an American heavy metal band from Springfield, Massachusetts, formed in 1995. They are known for their blend of thrash metal, hardcore, and melodic death metal—a style often associated with the New Wave of American Heavy Metal. The band has gone through several lineup changes over the years, with lead vocalist Brian Fair and guitarists Jonathan Donais and Matt Bachand being consistent members for the majority of the band's career.
