Slightly Stoopid

Slightly Stoopid is an American band based out of Ocean Beach, San Diego, California, that was formed in 1995. The band is known for their fusion of folk, rock, reggae, and blues with hip-hop, funk, metal, and punk. With a self-described "ocean beach sound," Slightly Stoopid has built a large and varied fanbase through extensive touring and a relaxed, laid-back musical style that reflects their Southern California roots. The group was originally signed by Bradley Nowell from the band Sublime to his label Skunk Records while still in high school. Over the years, Slightly Stoopid has released several albums with "Everything You Need" (2003) and "Meanwhile...Back At The Lab" (2015) being among them. They have become known for their DIY work ethic and extensive touring schedule, which often includes stops at major festivals around the world. Their music continues to evolve as they blend acoustic rock and blues with reggae, hip-hop, and punk influences.
