Smoke or Fire is an American punk rock band that originated from Boston, Massachusetts. The band was formed in 1998 under the name Jericho, but later changed it to Smoke or Fire. They are known for their energetic and melodic punk sound, which often features lyrics that touch on personal and political themes. After signing with Fat Wreck Chords, a respected label within the punk community, Smoke or Fire released their debut album "Above The City" in 2005. This release helped them gain a wider audience and established their presence in the punk rock scene. Following the success of their debut, they continued to produce music and released additional albums including "This Sinking Ship" in 2007 and "The Speakeasy" in 2010. The band's lineup has seen changes over the years, but they have maintained a dedicated fan base through touring and consistent musical output.
