Southern Rock Revivalists: Continues the Legacy

The Allman Betts Band is a rock group that formed in 2018, continuing the musical legacy of The Allman Brothers Band. The band was founded by Devon Allman and Duane Betts, the sons of Gregg Allman and Dickey Betts respectively, both of whom were original members of The Allman Brothers Band. They are joined by Berry Oakley Jr., son of original Allman Brothers bassist Berry Oakley, thus cementing the generational link. The group's sound is influenced by Southern rock, blues, and country, paying homage to the musical style their fathers pioneered while also infusing their own artistic identity.
