New York city music label. The label was founded in 1988 by Dirk Hemsath to release a 7" of his band Majority Of One. The first few releases were related to its owner and the bands he played in at the time. The first non-personal release was of the band, Stronghold. Things grew from there and the label continued to release mostly midwestern hardcore bands including Endpoint, Split Lip, and Fabric (2). The label later branched out by signing key indie bands The Get Up Kids, Chamberlain (2), and Hot Water Music. Their 2002 signing of The All-American Rejects led to their most successful release to date. As of July 2015, the label is re-releasing key catalogs on vinyl, including a 10th anniversary box set entitled Say Anything - ...Is A Real Boy.
