Eric Clapton and B. B. King, two pioneers and legends of electrified blues and guitar music par excellence, longtime friends until King's death in May 2015 and still undisputedly two of the most important guitarists in music history, first played together in New York in 1967. But it took more than 30 years before they combined their exceptional talents to record a collection of blues classics and contemporary songs.
