Jessie Reyez released a breakthrough single in 2016 Figureswhich charted on the Canadian Hot 100 and was certified platinum in Canada and gold by the RIAA a year later. The Kiddo EP, which she released in 2017, earned her four Juno Awards nominations, with Jessie herself being honored as a Breakthrough Artist. Her follow-up EP Being Human in Public, released a year after her previous EP and currently nominated for a Grammy, features contributions from Calvin Harris and Normani. They are also behind the single One Kisswhich was the biggest-selling song of 2018 in the UK.
