The Incident is the tenth studio album by British progressive rock band Porcupine Tree , released on 15 September 2009. The album was produced by Steven Wilson and mixed by Andy Jackson. It is the first Porcupine Tree album to feature Nick Beggs on bass guitar and Chapman Stick, and the last to feature Richard Barbieri on keyboards. The album was generally well received by critics, with some calling it the band's best work to date. The album charted at number 23 on the UK Albums Chart and at number 104 on the Billboard 200. A double CD and DVD-A release was released on 6 December 2010. The album was nominated for a 2010 Grammy Award for Best Surround Sound Album.
