On his new album "Epic", Christopher von Deylen (Schiller) takes inspiration from large-scale film music and develops his own epic orchestral sound. He combines his atmospheric soundscapes with emotive orchestral arrangements to create a gigantic film soundtrack.

For the recording, Schiller worked with the 40-piece symphony orchestra of Vienna's famous Synchron Stage, where Hans Zimmer and James Newton Howard also recorded.

"Working with forty creative people was a breathtaking experience," Schiller looks back. "While there are sound libraries with excellent samples today, fortunately there is no substitute for real instruments. You immediately feel an amazing, powerful energy. Being in a huge room full of collective creativity is incredibly inspiring. On "Epic" I try to capture that mood and transfer it to the listener."

"Epic" features twelve opulent tracks that combine Schiller's unique sound with fantasy and fiction. Each piece is a self-contained musical narrative guaranteed to give you goosebumps.

The deluxe edition includes the "Epic" album on CD and Blu-ray in a digipack with a 24-page booklet. The Blu-ray includes the complete album in Dolby Atmos multi-channel audio, extensive behind-the-scenes footage and exclusive orchestral performances.
