Marching music has always had many friends in Germany and Austria. The numerous parades and shows always offer good opportunities to listen to good marching music. This CD contains 50 classic marching pieces that should not be missing from any collection. They are performed by masters of the genre, such as the Hoch- und Deutschmeister-Kapelle under Julius Herrmann, the Stabsmusikkorps der Bundeswehr under Major Friedrich Deisenroth, the Musikkorps der Schutzpolizei Berlin or Ernst Mosch and his Egerländer Musikanten. Many of these recordings have not yet been available on CD.
