The second soundtrack contains songs from the fifth season of the series. As on the previous album, these are cover versions of well-known rock songs, but this time there are more original songs. The soundtrack features contributions from members of Jane's Addiction, Greg Holden, Joshua James and Noah Gundersen. Most of the songs, as on the previous album, were written by the Forest Rangers with changing vocalists, including actress Katey Sagal on To Sir With Love. Jane's Addiction recorded an exclusive cover version of the Rolling Stones hit Sympathy for the Devil, among others. Other cover versions include To Sir With Love by Lulu, The Passenger by Iggy Pop, Higher Ground by Stevie Wonder, Travelin' Band by John Fogerty and No Milk Today by Herman's Hermits.
