After the Second World War he limited his repertoire to selected piano works by the great masters Beethoven, Mozart, Brahms, Schubert, Haydn and Schumann. The three piano recitals included here from 1953 (Ordensaal Schloss Ludwigsburg), 1959 (Liederhalle Stuttgart) and 1962 (Liederhalle Stuttgart) show the pianist as a mature artist.
