Gary Graden is an American-born choral conductor and musician, renowned for his work in Sweden and internationally. He has been the director of the St. Jacob's Chamber Choir in Stockholm since 1984, where he has gained recognition for his innovative programming and the choir's expressive performances. Graden is known for his expertise in both early music and contemporary choral works, often blending different musical periods and styles in his concerts. He has collaborated with numerous composers and has premiered many new works, contributing significantly to the choral repertoire. His contributions to choral music have been acknowledged with several awards, including the prestigious Johannes Norrby Medal.
