Moby & The Void Pacific Choir is a musical project led by the American musician, DJ, and producer Moby. The project marked a departure from Moby's earlier electronic and dance music work, showcasing a more punk and alternative rock influence. Moby, whose real name is Richard Melville Hall, has had a prolific career spanning several decades, with his music encompassing various genres such as electronic, ambient, and pop. He gained massive international success with his 1999 album "Play," which brought electronic music to a wider audience. Moby is also known for his activism, particularly in the fields of animal rights and environmentalism, themes that often permeate his music and public persona. With The Void Pacific Choir, Moby continued to express his personal views through a more aggressive sonic palette. The project's albums "These Systems Are Failing" and "More Fast Songs About The Apocalypse" were released in 2016 and 2017 respectively, further expanding Moby's diverse discography.
